Tbilisi-Mtskheta-Uplistsikhe-Gori-Tbilisi

Today’s itinerary will take us to Mtskheta, the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia. Mtskheta holds a significant cultural and religious value for Georgia. We will first visit the Jvari Monastery, which offers panoramic views of the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Afterwards, we will visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral; both Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Afterwards, we will visit Uplistsikhe, an ancient cave town that was built before the time of Christ. Afterwards, we will have the opportunity to stop at the Joseph Stalin Museum and birthplace in Gori. We will then return back to Tbilisi.
